Key duties and responsibilities

1. Instruct learner drivers on theory and practical skills of driving.
2. Coach refresher students to regain their driving skills.
3. Prepare students for government driving test.
4. Monitor student progress and advice on skills to be developed.
5. Take responsibility for cleanliness and assigned tool of trade.
6. Prepare and maintain instruction on a daily basis.
7. Implement the driving school curriculum to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
8. Ensure compliance to the driving code of conduct and other internal policies and procedure.
9. Prepare and submit incident reports.
10. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Required qualifications and competencies

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE- minimum grade D) or equivalent qualifications from recognized institution.
2. Valid driving licence class BCEA free from any current endorsement.
3. Valid Instructors licence class BCEA, FG.
4. Diploma or degree in business, automotive engineering or any other related course is an added advantage.
5. NTSA accredited instructor training certificate.
6. Minimum 3 years’ experience in instructing.
7. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
8. Good customer service, interpersonal presentation and communication
   Skills.
